New AI software as a service for Hospital Systems, Clinics speeds COVID-19 diagnosis times by x50 and helps easily track effectiveness of treatment using Google(GOOG) Cloud Platform
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Chicago, Illinois August 25, 2020 – HighGate Inc, an AI based cyber security leader in penetration testing and anti-ransomware solutions, today announced it has launched an artificial intelligence solution HighGate LungAnalyser 1.1 designed to help medical staff rapidly assess, monitor, and diagnose COVID-19 patients using CT scans of their respiratory systems.
It normally takes a physician 10-15 minutes to manually read a CT scan and determine the extent of COVID-19 damage to a patient’s lungs. Tracking the progression of the infection is also done manually and can take tens of minutes or more. HighGate LungAnalyser will do the analysis and tracking of COVID-19 progression, using CT scans, in 10-20 seconds, saving precious time and thereby increasing physician productivity. It can plot out a graph in seconds, showing the progression of COVID-19 in a patient helping the physician save minutes or more of extrapolation and analysis time that can be applied to more complex treatment strategy.

Pulmonary abnormalities caused by COVID-19 can also be found by chance in exams carried out for other reasons – e.g. abdominal CT scans for bowel problems, in patients without respiratory complaints. LungAnalyser 1.1 uses Google Cloud to provide a scalable, secure, software as a service.
